Objective: Design packaging that is reusable, durable, minimal-waste, and user friendly for Outdoorsy Co., a brand that sells camping kitchen gear.
Process: I sketched ideas, designed flat layouts in Illustrator, and created mockups in Adobe Dimension. The spices are in lightweight and durable aluminum twist top jars with matte-finish labels. The jars are intended to be re-used and re-filled by consumers from large spice refill bottles sold by Outdoorsy Co.
The packaging for the camp stove is made of a soft and sturdy fabric that doubles as a carrying case. The fabric is coated with a plastic finish so that it is easy to wipe clean while camping. The instructions are on a piece of cardstock tucked into the back mesh pocket.
The olive oil packaging is made of a durable squeezable cardboard carton with a plastic coating in a matte finish. The wide-mouth top makes it easy to reuse and refill the container when it's empty.
