UCLA x Jordan and Nike Partnership Reveal
Objective: Create the official announcement for the UCLA x Jordan and Nike brand partnership in just one week to be released on the UCLA Store Instagram. Generate excitement and hype for the new collaboration among a varied audience of UCLA fans, students, alumni, and more.
Process: I co-directed, co-filmed, and edited the video in After Effects. The video was released at the end of 2020.
Reach: The video was posted on the UCLA Store instagram and shared by UCLA, UCLA Athletics, and other official UCLA instagram channels to receive over 15k views, 300 shares, and 1000+ likes.
Staff Assembly All Staff Social – Event Campaign
Objective: Design eye-catching social media and newsletter graphics to garner registration for the All Staff Social.
Results: The hardest graphics to tackle was the schedule, because there were so many words for a platform that values quick easy-to-digest content. I decided a carousel with a simple and engaging lead image would be the best way to engage with our audience. I chose the brightest UCLA-yellow and designed a bold and inviting All Staff Social logo, with the intention of standing out and causing the reader to stop scrolling. Thousands of UCLA Staff attended the All Staff Social, despite it being mostly virtual due to COVID.
UCLA Store Fall Collection Launch
Objective: Create an engaging behind the scenes and meet-the-models video for the new Fall Collection from the UCLA Store. The video will be shared to the UCLA Store instagram page and email list, and serve as the official launch of the Fall Collection.
Process: I co-filmed all footage on an Osmo Pocket and edited the video in After Effects. The video was created and released in 2021.
Reach: This video was distributed to over 60,000 UCLA fans, alumni, students, and staff. Over 200 people went straight to shop the online Fall Collection from the Instagram video.
UCLA Store Fall Collection
Objective: Design an engaging Instagram campaign to promote the new UCLA Fall Collection.
Results: My team and I selected dynamic, personable photos and brainstormed short, trendy captions to drive sales for the new UCLA Fall Collection. We received thousands of product button clicks and hundreds of post shares which contributed to the UCLA Store selling out of many products. Here is a sample of posts from the campaign.
