Objective: Create a collection of limited edition lapel pins commemorating various UCLA Centennial events scheduled throughout the year.
Process: UCLA kicked off its 100th year in 2019 with a 12 month Centennial Celebration. The University hosted and/or attended a total of 61 Centennial events throughout the year, and I designed a series of pins for the eight biggest events. Each pin features an iconic representation of the event, while maintaining UCLA's exclusive Centennial brand identity. A limited quantity of each pin was produced and worn by UCLA executives, faculty, and donors.
The pins commemorate:
1. Royce Hall Centennial Activation (at UCLA)
2. Downtown Los Angeles Centennial Activation
3. Washington DC Centennial Activation
4. Sacramento Centennial Activation
5. All International Centennial Activations (including Hong Kong, Jakarta, Tokyo, and more)
6. UCLA Volunteer Day
7. CicLAvia: Heart of LA, Celebrating UCLA's 100
8. UCLA at LA Pride Parade
